Education materials provided for 2 thousand students
TDA provided educational materials for 2 thousand students from low-income households for the 2016 E.C academic year at a cost of more than 500,000 ETB from our partner organization,
Children Believe, and income from TDA members.
The association provides educational materials yearly base to families that need help to acquire and provide education materials for their children due to rising education material prices.
In the event, head of the Sodo Town Education Office, Mr. Asrat Toma, as well as officials from Sodo District and Sodo Town Women and Children, thanked the association and the members who contributed to the provision of 10,800 exercise books and 3,500 pens.
TDA (Terepeza Development Association) has contributed to the improvement of service gaps in the education and health sectors by expanding the existing ones and constructing new schools and health centers, supplying school and health facilities, and constructing toilets and water supplies in Sodo City and Sodo Zuria District through the CCDP (Children Care and Community Development Program).
