Terepeza Development Association-TDA Self-Help Group (SHG) legalization forum with key stakeholders was held today at the Haile Hotel in Wolaita Sodo, Ethiopia.

Participants in the forum included SHG representatives, government officials, and TDA project managers.

Following an in-depth discussion about how to legally recognize SHGs, a steering committee was formed with representatives from four government regional and zonal offices, including TDA.

 

The group is led by the Women and Children Affairs Office and comprises the Justice, Cooperative, and Job Creation Offices. The committee is in charge of facilitating the entire SHG legalization process.
