DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTION
Climate change is predicted to further increase exposure to climate-related and hydrological hazard. Much has been done in the last 30 years in the way of managing disaster risks, through, prevention, mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery activities. Nevertheless, a number of systemic limitations and gaps persist.
Therefore, TDA’s strategic plan will take into consideration the national DRM policy, green economy initiative and undertake appropriate interventions aimed at Climate change adaptations.
