A program designed to officially transfer the post-harvest warehouses built-in Humbo and Abala, Wolaita Zone by TDA and funded by Tearfund UK for Commercial Village team members happened yesterday; 6th of July/2022.

So far, the project is mainly believed to benefit commercial village members and smallholder farmers:

• Create awareness of market-oriented production, preservation and selling of the product.

• Introduce the concept of post-harvest handling and pricing.

• Improve production and productivity by practicing climate-resilient agriculture such as CA;

• Bring producers and self-help groups to market and benefit from bargaining with legitimate traders.
